ESN to Serve as Technical Adviser on Ships Systems for Military Sealift Command

ARLINGTON, VA (August 18, 2009) – The Military Sealift Command has awarded Engineering Services Network Inc. (ESN), a trusted leader in engineering and technology solutions, a $1.5 million contract to serve as a technical adviser for the MCS (Machinery Control System) project contract on T-AOE.

There are four T-AOE 6 Class Fast Combat Support Ships built for the U.S. Navy by National Steel and Shipbuilding Corporation and put into service between 1994 and 1998. ESN will provide the personnel with extensive specific experience of the AOE Class electric plant and machinery control systems.

The contract is for one base year, with four option years. If all five years are exercised, officials said the contract would be valued at $1.5 million.
