ESN Soars in Ranking on 2009
Inc. 5000; Tallies 56% in Growth in Three Years
ARLINGTON, VA (September 14, 2009) – For the third year
in a row, ESN of Arlington, VA, rose in ranking on the Inc.
5000’s list of the nation’s fastest-growing private
companies.
In its September issue, Inc. magazine named Engineering Services
Network Inc. – a trusted leader in engineering, IT and
business consulting – among the 5,000 fastest-growing
private companies in the United States.
ESN soared in the rankings to No. 3,863, up from 4,412 on
the 2008 Inc. 5000.
The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most
important segment of the economy – the nation’s
independent-minded entrepreneurs.
Inc. 5000 also showed that ESN’s revenue surged 56.3%
over the last three years – growing from $16.9 million
in 2005 to $26.4 million in 2008.

billion from last year.

1 million jobs since their founding, making the list perhaps
the best example of the impact private, fast-growing companies
can have on the economy.
IT services had the most companies on this year’s list,
with 658. Government services was the top industry gainer.
